Players costing $6,667 or under

Marvin Bagley III (vs WAS – $5,500): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Bagley III has been hit-and-miss this season, which is to be expected for a rookie. He was down in his last game, so the trend says he’ll be up in this game. The Wizards would be a team that Bagley III ends up with 40-plus fantasy points against. Diagnosis: He’s a rookie, so proceed with caution.

Serge Ibaka (vs DAL – $5,400): Needs 23 fantasy points. Ibaka’s numbers have started to slight, which is a bit worrying. But he’s settling into a consistent option, which is the good news. If the cold streak is coming, it appears to be right around the corner. I’d still give him one more game based on this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else. And if he doesn’t go cold, even better.

Montrezl Harrell (at HOU – $5,400): Needs 23 fantasy points. The Rockets can’t stop Harrell, they can only hope to contain him. He had 43.5 fantasy points against Houston on Oct. 21. He always seems to kill with his scoring, rebounding, and defense. Until I see otherwise, I will continue to play this matchup. Diagnosis: Some guys just have it against certain teams. Harrell has it against Houston.
