3. Christian Kirk, Arizona Cardinals

The overall struggles of Arizona’s offense have put a lid on everyone’s fantasy production, but the firing of offensive coordinator Mike McCoy and promotion of quarterbacks coach Byron Leftwich can only help. Especially if he follows a plan to emulate how former Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians did things.

Kirk has topped 50 yards in three straight games, and in four of his last five, with at least five targets in five of his last six contests. The one where he didn’t have five targets over that span was Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers, where he had three catches for 85 yards and his first career touchdown. Week 8 brings a rematch against the 49ers, who are in the bottom half of the league against wide receivers (ESPN PPR scoring) and have allowed nine touchdowns to the position (four in their last three games).

A Week 9 bye is worth noting, but Kirk has been solid and could see improvement with the change  in coordinator. His value is greater in standard scoring leagues, but there’s some sneaky PPR potential for the rookie out of Texas A&M if Arizona’s offense becomes legitimately more efficient and prolific.
