The Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators sit tied atop the SEC East alongside Kentucky, which means that it’s going to be a race to the finish.

Saturday’s game will give one program the clear advantage over the other and a foot up in the race to make it to Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

The SEC West hasn’t been settled yet, as LSU will look to have its say against Alabama, but right now it feels like the Crimson Tide are in the driver’s seat to get to Atlanta. Coming into this year, everyone thought Georgia was a lock to represent the SEC East.

The Bulldogs are exactly where they need to be to get to Atlanta again, but they’re going to have a fight on their hands against Dan Mullen’s squad. The first-year Gators coach would love nothing more than to usurp the power at the top of the division and put his team back in the conference championship game.

With a huge battle on tap, Lee Corso and the gang will break down what to expect on the field and of course make their picks. A neutral site like Jacksonville should see plenty of representation from fans on both sides ahead of this war set to unfold on the gridiron.
