Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks, Player Pool, and MME Strategy for 10/27

Welcome to what will be a daily Fantasy Basketball MME player pool and mass multi entry strategy for both Draftkings and FanDuel.

There are a couple of different ways to approach NBA DFS MME – one way is to just put a few DFS NBA lineups in a bunch of tournaments, a strategy I do not recommend. The other is to be selective in the tournaments and enter those with the maximum lineups allowed. While everyone dreams of taking down a GPP with a life changing prize pool, my focus is on maximizing the number of entries that are competitive and finishing above the cash line and turning a profit on a more consistent basis. You will hear a lot about building a core group of players and building your lines around it but with MME this is hardly the case.

The goal is to create a player pool of both low and high risk plays while limiting exposure to the high risk plays. Contest selection is key as well, for example you have better odds of putting 150 entries into a tournament with a field of 20000 entries versus a contest that may have a higher pize pool but only allows 20 max entries in a field of 40000. With that being said, let’s get to our pool for tonight.

So, on this beautiful 9 game slate we know right away that Devin Booker will not be playing and DeAndre Ayton is tagged with a “Q”. I am not so sure if there really is anyone we need from the Suns here unless Ayton plays. Maybe TJ Warren and trevor Ariza are worth rostering but it would be at minimal exposure. Memphis has had 1 game so far this year in which they scored over 100 points and through 4 games have kept their opponents at an average of 102 points a game. I can stomach only Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, and Jaren Jackson (I think we can see a 40 point effort tonight).

Can Anthony Davis keep giving us 60+ nightly? He is on a b2b at home against Utah and so long as there isn’t any tom-foolery such as a last minute scratch or breaking a fingernail in the first minute he should be able to produce again. Has Donovan Mitchell found himself? Well, at his salary my answer is I do not know but will be a fade. There are other options that are safer and more consistent at or lower than his salary. He is a fade for me. Instead I will look at Rudy Gobert and Eflrid Payton in this matchup.

I wanted to specifically highlight those 2 games because there will be questions surrounding how to attack them. As for the rest of the pool, I have been asked to rank them into tiers so I will go with Elite level plays (basically our high priced options), Mid level, and of course Value/Punts/Pivots.
