High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Andre Drummond (vs BOS – $9,300): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. Drummond had 50.4 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Oct. 23. He can still be inconsistent next to Griffin, but there’s no denying his potential when it comes to rebounding and scoring. He was inconsistent against the Celtics last season, but he did have a major 70-plus fantasy point game against them. Diagnosis: Inconsistent option with a very high ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (at MIL – $8,200): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. Vucevic has been great this season, averaging 45.1 fantasy points in five games. The Bucks are looking tougher and tougher with each passing game and given how much rest they got on Friday, this isn’t much of a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Matchup might be tough, but Vucevic has been great in terms of scoring and rebounding.

JaVale McGee (at SA – $7,000): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. There’s no reason to doubt the best player in the league right now. His salary has jumped way up, which might scare off people, but McGee has been great and shows no signs of slowing down. The higher salary lessens his value, but his minutes aren’t going to decrease. Diagnosis: Higher salary is a bit concerning, but McGee has been great and should at least hit value.
