FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Oct. 27, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs ORL – $12,400): Needs 51 fantasy points. I guess after Friday the only concern with Giannis is him dominating too much. As long as the Magic are able to keep it competitive, Giannis will put up numbers in all categories. But if he’s too good for his own good, there is a risk he doesn’t live up to value. As always, never doubt Giannis. Diagnosis: Unless you’re worried about a blowout, take Giannis with all the confidence in the world.
Taurean Prince (vs CHI – $7,200): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Prince has been good this season, averaging 33.6 fantasy points in four games. While a guy like Trae Young will get the headlines and has the higher ceiling, Prince has been a steady option. Against a matchup like the Bulls, who are on a back-to-back, theres good reason to think Prince will deliver once again. Diagnosis: Reliable option who has a good matchup in front of him.
Jabari Parker (at ATL – $6,700): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. Parker didn’t have the extra minutes I thought he would against Charlotte, which is concerning for his value on Saturday. But I like the matchup and I’m going to trust he sees extra minutes in this one as the Bulls need some offense. His rebounding numbers will be better. Diagnosis: Rebounding held him back on Friday. Those will be up and he’ll continue to get points.
