The Golden State Warriors are throwing some serious shade at Fergie after her performance of the National Anthem at last season’s All-Star Game.

The Golden State Warriors clearly have something against singer Fergie. They recently released a video of themselves dancing to a remix of her National Anthem performance, and they appeared to be having a lot of fun at her expense.

What makes the troll even more brutal is that Fergie’s ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, had some choice words for Warriors forward Draymond Green earlier this week. Green was making some amusing faces during Fergie’s performance.

“I was pissed off at Draymond Green, first of all,” Duhamel said to Fox Sports. “I think he owed her an apology. I thought he was kind of a prick. Just because he knew the camera was on him, and he snickered about. I just thought that, if he would have been a real man, he would have at least called her and said, ‘Listen, I’m sorry that I caused all this.’ … That’s what a real man would have done, in my opinion.”

Oops. Draymond Green isn’t a bear you want to poke.

Duhamel took the video in good humor though, and so hopefully this is a bridge that can eventually be mended.

On the court, the Warriors are predictably having a solid year. Stephen Curry delivered his first signature performance of the season with 51 points in three quarters against the Washington Wizards, and he was pulling up from close to 40 feet routinely in the game. The Wizards’ confidence can’t be high right now, because they got absolutely torched by the two-time MVP. No. 3 might be on the way if he keeps playing like that. He is currently averaging an absurd 33.7 points, 6.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds and one steal per game while shooting 52.7 percent from 3-point range. Are those numbers sustainable? Probably not, but should he prove us wrong, then he’ll be the favorite to win it again for sure.

If the Warriors make it back the NBA Finals though, it would be a nice full circle moment if Fergie gets an invite to give the National Anthem another try.
