High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Donovan Mitchell (at DAL – $8,500): Needs 35.2 fantasy points. The Jazz are on a back-to-back, but the Mavericks have shown very little defense this season, which is why I’m less worried than usual. Mitchell has been good to great this year and we all know what he’s capable of. I like the matchup for him and his big game ability. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy who is the best scorer on the team. Expect a big game.

Bradley Beal (vs LAC – $8,200): Needs 33.9 fantasy points. Beal’s value is largely tied to his scoring right now. He’s still the best pure scorer and shooter on the Wizards, but their offense is all over the place and I don’t know what you’re going to get from him on a game-to-game basis. The matchup is good, if nothing else. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with big game potential. But who knows with the Wizards.

Caris LeVert (vs GS – $6,800): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LeVert has been the best DFS guard for the Nets this season. He’s averaging 33.8 fantasy points in five games thus far. Scoring has not been an issue for him and he’s done well to get rebounds while also chipping in with assists. The Warriors can be tough, but LeVert has been delivering. Diagnosis: Playing well and should elevate his game against the best team in the league.

Quick Hits

Dennis Schroder ($6,700): If Westbrook doesn’t play, Schroder will start and should have a big game given that they are playing the Suns.
