FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 28, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Montrezl Harrell (vs WAS – $5,500): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Harrell did what Harrell does against the Rockets on Oct. 26, finishing with 49.7 fantasy points. He’s been great in the last three games and if he continues to get playing time, he’ll continue to get it done with his scoring, rebounding, and on defense. If his minutes go down, he could be a huge bust, but I’ll trust Rivers to play him enough. Diagnosis: Love what he’s done in the last three and assuming his minutes are up, his production will be up.
Derrick Favors (at DAL – $5,200): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. The only concern is Favors not getting enough playing time. The Jazz like to go to Crowder due to his versatility and if the Mavericks go small with Barnes at power forward, it could keep Crowder on the floor a bit longer. But Favors will put up numbers for as long as he’s in the game. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy who is reliable with his scoring and rebounding.
Jerami Grant (vs PHO – $4,800): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Grant posted 25.7 fantasy points against the Celtics on Oct. 25. He drew his first start of the season, which helped his value. Grant isn’t a big numbers guy, but he can do a little bit in every category and plays big minutes. Against the Suns, that trend should continue. Diagnosis: Reliable option at worst and could be nicely over value given the matchup.
