By Adam Stocker
Napoli face Roma at San Paolo Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 28. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Last season, Napoli and Roma finished second and third behind Juventus. This season, Juventus and Napoli are again first and second in the Serie A table but Roma have had a poor start and sit seventh in the table. On Sunday, Napoli host Roma at the San Paolo.
Napoli could have taken a commanding position in their Champions League group but allowed Paris Saint-Germain to score a late equalizer. In Serie A, Napoli have won seven of nine games and all four games at the San Paolo. Lorenzo Insigne has had a great start to the season, scoring six goals. Insigne has benefited from Carlo Ancelotti switching to a front two, playing alongside Dries Mertens and Arkadiusz Milik, who have both scored three times.
Roma had their three-game winning streak ended last weekend following a 2-0 loss to Spal. Eusebio Di Francesco’s team rebounded in Champions League on Tuesday, easily beating CSKA Moscow 3-0 behind an Edin Dzeko brace. The Bosnia-Herzegovina striker has been incredible in Champions League, scoring five goals this year in three games. However, Dzeko has had a slow start in Serie A, only scoring twice. Roma have struggled to score goals outside of the Italian capital, scoring only four away goals. Scoring goals will be difficult for Roma, who are expected to be without Javier Pastore, Diego Perotti, and Justin Kluivert.
