No. 9 Chester Rogers vs Oakland

Chester Rogers is back! The Colts offense was humming last week and even at 2-5 they’ve scored at least 30 points in three of the last four weeks.

Rogers has become a bigger target for Andrew Luck and after just eight catches the first three weeks, Rogers put up eight catches against Houston AND New England. Another fun fact? Rogers had less than twenty yards each of the first three weeks. Since then he’s had 40+ yards in each game and had his best outing against Houston with eight catches for 85 yards.

Rogers has just one touchdown and that’s concerning but I think that could change this weekend. He only has two receptions in the red zone and only eight total past the 50 yard line.  Could that change against Oakland this week?

The Raiders are in full fire sale mode and the team doesn’t seem to be happy in any facet. Why should they be? I mean think about how things have gone and then triple that. Amari Cooper is gone and Marshawn is on IR, that offense could be stagnant. This matchup could be the exact one that the Colts need to fully get back on track in an AFC South that no one wants to win. Rogers is a good sleeper flex this week.
