10 WR sleepers to watch in Fantasy Football Week 8
By Connor Ulrey
No. 3 Courtland Sutton vs Kansas City
The Denver offense has weapons and they’re still struggling. That can’t be easy for any fantasy owners but with another matchup against Kansas City coming up, how can you not target Courtland Sutton for your flex needs?
Sutton only has 14 catches on the year but is just shy of 250 yards total to go with a pair of scores. Positive for fantasy owners however would be that both those touchdowns came in the last three weeks. At 3-4 the Broncos don’t look like they’re admitting the season will trend down but their schedule won’t get much easier.
Sutton is a nice help for the dominant forces that are Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryious Thomas. The Broncos have been rumored to be listening to offers for Sanders. I doubt any of that pans out and he remains in the Mile High City for some time but if he did? Sutton would be a great pick up now for yards the rest of the way.
Even with Sanders, Sutton is a good target to have and a flex play you can make and feel alright with this week. Sutton has been a top target shy of the 50, early in drives and also a big impact in the first half. Add in some second half production this week against a Kansas City team still scoring at will and I think Sutton lines up for a big Week 8.
