Derrick Rose (vs LAL – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Rose is still alive and kicking in Minnesota. The salary has remained fair given the minutes he plays and his usage rate. The Lakers defense remains very suspect as well. There’s a lot of weirdness going on in Minnesota, but Rose has been surprisingly this great. Diagnosis: He’s delivering. Maybe he won’t deliver forever. But he’s delivering right now.
Frank Ntilikina (vs BKN – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Nitilikina has been inconsistent this season, but he’s logging big minutes right now and playing with much more confidence than he had in his rookie season. The Nets are not good and are on a back-to-back. Nitilikina should get points and do enough in other categories to produce a strong game.
Bryn Forbes (vs DAL – $4,400): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. I’ve loved the reliability of Forbes this season. As I always say, on big nights of action, you need reliable options. Forbes is going a few points overvalue each game and he’s not hurting your team at all. Against a Dallas team on a back-to-back, there’s no reason to think Forbes won’t have his usual typical outing with his scoring. Diagnosis: Consistent scoring option who may do a bit more given the matchup.
