Players costing $6,667 or under

Buddy Hield (at MIA – $6,400): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Aside from a rough night against the Nuggets, Hield has been great for the Kings this season. The Heat can be a tough matchup with their defense, but Hield is a reliable scoring option who has chipped in with rebounds this year. He’ll get some good looks against the Heat. Diagnosis: Trust his scoring, even if the Heat look tough on paper.

Rodney McGruder (vs SAC – $5,600): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. McGruder has been excellent this year and is coming off a 31 fantasy point performance against the Trail Blazers. He should be able to keep it up against the Kings because…Kings. I love the way he’s playing and love the matchup even more. Diagnosis: The salary feels too low based on what we’ve seen from him this year. He should have another big game.

Damyean Dotson (vs BKN – $5,200): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. Dotson drew the start against the Warriors and finished with 22.4 fantasy points. He was doing better off the bench, but making your first start against the Warriors is always tough. The Nets are a much easier matchup. Whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, he’ll get it done with his scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Good matchup who has been performing extremely well this season.
