Peyton Barber, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Stats: 19 carries, 85 yards and one touchdown

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might not be doing well in the win column, but this is an offense that can score some points. This is really the only thing that matters when it comes to fantasy football. The Buccaneers are a team that has helped many fantasy owners this year.

Peyton Barber is looking to be the next to emerge as a steady fantasy performer. This past week he had his best performance of the year against the Cincinnati Bengals.

He was able to consistently find running room finishing with a 4.5  yards per carry average. However, his longest run was only 16 yards. This shows more of a grind it out type of running attack.

One interesting note is that Barber got 19 carries despite the fact the Buccaneers trailed for much of the game. Tampa Bay appeared to be committed to getting their running game on track.

Moving forward, Barber has a chance to be a solid flex play– especially if he continues to get double-digit carries. The one concern from this game was that Barber didn’t have a single reception.

This obviously drops his value in PPR formats significantly.
