Later this week, I’ll be publishing the first weekly edition of Rookie Cards and will be focusing on three rookies individually —

Deandre Ayton (C, Phoenix Suns): No. 1 overall pick, the only rookie averaging a double-double so far

Trae Young (PG, Atlanta Hawks): No. 5 overall pick, highest drafted player out of Oklahoma since Blake Griffin, leads all rookies in scoring

Josh Okogie (SG, Minnesota Timberwolves): No. 20 overall pick, one of four Nigerian-born players currently in the NBA, only rookie drafted outside the top 10 who is currently in the top 5 in minutes, rebounds
