Players costing over $6,250

Kawhi Leonard (vs PHI – $9,500): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. Leonard was able to rest on Monday while everyone else on the Raptors and Sixers played. The extra rest should benefit him. He’s been fantastic this season and I expect him to up his game once again given the talk surrounding the Sixers. Diagnosis: I’m not doubting Kawhi right now, especially with him rested and everyone else on a back-to-back.

Bradley Beal (at MEM – $6,800): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. I don’t trust anyone on the Wizards and Beal’s performances have gotten worse on this road trip. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup who are going to play good defense, which worries me about Beal. But it’s a rough night at shooting guard and Beal does have potential. Diagnosis: High potential, but the Wizards are a wreck right now.

CJ McCollum (at HOU – $6,400): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. McCollum has been consistent, but not spectacular. As mentioned, it’s a slow night with high salary shooting guards and at least McCollum is on a team that likes each other. I’m taking anyone against the Rockets at their point with the way their defense has looked. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else. Could be in line for a big game given the matchup.
