High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Carmelo Anthony (vs POR – $5,300): Needs 24 fantasy points. Melo has been over 35 fantasy points in his last two games. With James Harden out, he’s getting more shots and contributing on the boards. Plus, he’s playing big minutes. The salary remains low enough for him to be a steal as long as he continues to score. And with the shots he’s getting, he’ll score. Diagnosis: A good DFS player due to his volume scoring. Will continue to get shots and rebounds.
Marcus Morris (vs DET – $5,000): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Morris has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games, including 30.5 fantasy points against the Pistons on Oct. 27. Morris will continue to shoot and he’s a reliable option in the rebounding department. He typically plays better at home as well. Diagnosis: Shooting well, will continue to shoot, and gets rebounds.
Al-Farouq Aminu (at HOU – $4,500): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. Aminu had 26.5 fantasy points against the Pacers on Monday. He’s inconsistent, but he posted a double-double on Monday, which gives you an idea of the kind of potential he has. I don’t trust the Rockets against anyone right now. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a low-cost option with a good matchup. Should contribute with points and rebounds.
