More from DraftKings

We are back to balanced rotations in the EuroLeague this around with four Thursday and four Friday games.

After a monster Thursday last week, the money line on Friday was a much more manageable 129.25 DraftKings points. Ray McCallum and Kyle Hines were enough of a waste of money to keep me from cashing despite another strong performance from Roll and Wolters.

The winning entry was down quite a bit to 167.25 DraftKings points. He built around Nando and Clevin Hannah and got good value at low ownership from Alec Peters.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

Guards:

Nando de Colo is going to be the top target again, and for good reason. He cashed us on Friday. Teammate Cory Higgins hasn’t been starting, but he is putting up big numbers and big minutes as well. This is a great matchup against Olympiacos, but I still think I would only use Higgins as part of a CSKA stack.

I want no part of the Tel Aviv backcourt in this matchup, but I would use Thomas Huertel against them due to Scottie Wilbekin likely being unavailable. Nihad Dedovic has a much better matchup though, and is cheaper.

Nigel Williams-Goss remains a must play in all cash games, but he has decent enough upside for tournament use as well. Stefan Jovic and Petteri Koponen look like great mid range picks against Fenerbahce. I would prefer them or Maodo Lo in tournaments.

Marcelinho Huertas continues to have high upside, but his scoring is so volatile that he is a tournament flier only. Janis Strelnieks is a far safer option, albeit without as high of an upside. NOTE: Strelnieks has been ruled OUT for this week. We get some news early for a change! That opens up value for Vangelis Manzaris and could help the value of Milutinov.

Forwards:

Jan Vesely remains the safest play, but I prefer the upside of Chris Singleton in matchups like this. In fact, the upside at forward is so good that I am on board with fading Vesely all together and using a combination of Singleton, Ante Tomic, or Shengelia. All three of them if you can find enough value at guard (you can). Vincente Poirier is a suitable tournament play on upside alone.

Michael Eric continues to be priced way too low for what he is providing. He gets another favorable matchup with Baskonia here. Giorgios Printezis remains the safe pivot off of Milutinov.

I hate the matchups of most of the middle tier with the exception of Tarik Black. I love him for the price here.

The bargain tier is full of bad matchups as well, but it’s hard to ignore the price on Nikita Kurbanov. With Clyburn struggling, Kurbanov looks better and better. I’m also willing to use Alec Peters here despite the poor matchup.

I would much rather move all the way down to Sasha Vezenkov. Garino, Voightmann, and Johnny O’Bryant are worth a look as value picks as well. Don’t forget about the suddenly producing Axel Toupane either.
