After about two weeks we at Fastbreak Breakfast are finally starting to get our rhythm with the NBA season being back. Starting to remember how to watch four games at once and still get off the occasional tweet. Getting accustomed to League Pass’s [lack of] controls again. Inching our children’s bedtimes earlier and earlier to be able to catch more of the Eastern time zone games.

Some NBA players are also rounding into shape as they begin to find their rhythm. Misleading early-season sample sizes are starting to grow. Some of the most outlandish numbers have already started to regress (I’ll never forget you, Blake Griffin’s 36 points per game average). While others, like Klay Thompson’s shooting woes, still haven’t. (update: slump busted)

So which of the early trends are meaningful and lasting? Which of the presumed playoff teams stumbling out of the gates (Thunder, Rockets, Wizards) are most troubling? And which individual player’s blazing starts do we think are legitimate and could be the beginning of Most Improved Player campaigns?

On a new episode of Fastbreak Breakfast, we look at all those topics, plus we help you with a problem relevant to far too many NBA fans: activating League Pass as a Comcast/Xfinity customer. We offer some advanced life hacks to spare you grief as you attempt the annual challenge of making League Pass work.

Fastbreak Breakfast is a podcast for serious NBA fans that is incredibly not serious. All episodes are available on Apple Podcasts and Soundcloud or any other major podcast service.
