On the 10th anniversary of Zack and Miri Make a Porno, let’s take a look back at the best Seth Rogen movies.

Seth Rogen is like this generation’s Adam Sandler. Literally every movie he touches is beyond hilarious and it’s usually due to Rogen. The Canadian actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director (what can’t he do?) got his start doing stand-up when he was just a teenager and his big break in Hollywood when he was cast in Judd Apatow’s series Freaks and Geeks. Though that cult-classic series only lasted one season, the working relationship between Apatow and Rogen flourished.

But it wasn’t until he was cast as the leading man in Apatow’s Knocked Up did Rogen really become the star he is today. Walk with us through the 15 best films that Rogen was ever a part of (on screen at least).

1. Knocked Up

Many fans consider this Rogen’s big break, after all, he had only a cult following prior to starring alongside Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd, and Leslie Mann in the comedy about a stoner who knocks up a highly successful woman during a drunken one-night stand. The movie became an instant classic when it debuted on June 1, 2007, and grossed $219 million worldwide. The film was so popular that it even garnered a sort-of spin-off This Is 40, which was released in 2012, though Rogen did not appear.

The American Film Institute (AFI) even called it the “funniest, freshest comedy of this generation.”

We kinda have to agree.

2. Zack and Miri Make a Porno

My personal favorite Seth Rogen film of all time comes in second, only because it takes a specific sense of humor to enjoy this flick. The film, directed by Kevin Smith and starring Rogen and Elizabeth Banks, was released on Halloween day, 2008. The plot is a little tricky, but trust me if you haven’t seen it, it’s adorable. Zack and Miri are childhood best friends and roommates who are struggling to make ends meet. When their power and electricity get shut off, they devise a plan to release a sex tape.

It’s HILARIOUS.

They, along with an excellent ensemble cast including Craig Robinson (The Office), Jason Mewes (of Jay and Silent Bob) and Traci Lords (of you know… actual porn) create one of the funniest, sweetest love stories I have ever seen. Plus, the chemistry between Rogen and Banks is so authentic you can’t help but fall in love right along with them.

Unfortunately, the movie didn’t do so well in the box office, but honestly… who cares?
