11. Donnie Darko
The second non-comedy on the list is Donnie Darko, a film that can best be explained as a dramatic fantasy where a teenager sleepwalks out of his house and sees a giant, demonic-looking rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days. When the teenager returns home, he finds that a plane has crashed into his bedroom. Now we are left to wonder if heās living in a parallel universe or will the world really end?
Rogen playsĀ Ricky Danforth, who has only a bit part, but this film was too incredible to leave off the list entirely. This was also Rogenās first credited film role, so that has to count for something right?
12. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Here is another one of those historically classic comedies that everyone and their mother seems to love and while itās probably a lot better than some of the movies above, Rogen is only a bit part, so itās got to be a little bit lower on the list. Please donāt throw things at me!
Anchorman is the story of an anchorman (who thinks heās Godās gift to women) on a San DiegoĀ TV station. The station brings on a new anchor (a woman⦠gasp!) and of course the two clash.
Rogen plays Scotty a cameraman who honestly youād probably miss if you werenāt actually looking for him. But he is in it and thatās what counts right?
The film made $28.4 million in its opening weekend, and $90.6 million worldwide and is considered to be one of the funniest movies of this generation. It was listed asĀ 100 onĀ Bravoās 100 funniest movies, number 6 onĀ Time Outās top 100 comedy films of all time and 113 onĀ Empireās 500 Greatest Movies of All Time and even garnered a sequel.
