The Atlanta Falcons are trying to put their season back on track, and based on their roster, they should be a playoff team this season. They had their bye week this past week, and now must hit the road for a huge test this Sunday, as they head to the Nation’s Capitol to take on the first-place Washington Redskins.

In Matt Ryan, the Falcons have one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL, and he has already led the team to a Super Bowl in his career. On the offensive side of the ball, they have so many weapons in guys like Julio Jones, Tevin Coleman, and Austin Hooper, and they have done a nice job bolstering the offensive line in recent drafts.

With their first round pick in 2019, the Falcons hopefully are not picking this early in round one, as that would mean they did not make the playoffs. However, if they are picking at No. 16, they should look to bolster the other side of the line, and Quinnen Williams from Alabama is one of the better defensive tackles in this draft class.

Atlanta has some great edge rushers on the roster, so adding a player to the interior of the defensive line makes a lot of sense. In Williams, they would have a guy who can really clog upĀ  the middle against the run, and in an NFC with a ton of elite running backs, that could be a way the Falcons make it back to the Super Bowl eventually.
