The Philadelphia Eagles got a win across the pond on Sunday, as they took on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, England to kick off the Sunday slate. The Eagles have been a pretty inconsistent team this season, as they have possibly been suffering a Super Bowl hangover,Ā but they should get things in order in due time.
Carson Wentz is coming off a torn up knee, so it makes sense that he would struggle a bit after regaining his starting job. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and once he gets his sea legs back under him, this offense should have no problems getting the Birds back to the top of the NFC East.
Not only did Wentz blow out his knee last season, but future Hall of Famer Jason Peters did as well, and he is a guy who is really getting up there in age. The Eagles may want to use a first round pick on the offensive tackle position, and a guy like Trey Adams from Washington would be a nice fit in Philadelphia.
Adams suffered his own injury this season, and has been sitting out the entire season. However, when he is healthy, he is the best offensive tackle in college football, and is a guy who could start right away in the NFL. The Eagles are going to be fine, and will likely be picking later than No. 17, but that is where we are right now.
