The Baltimore Ravens are one of those teams who have been wildly inconsistent this season, and are fresh off a bad a loss to the Carolina Panthers this past weekend. The Ravens hit the road toĀ take on Cam Newton and company, and were beaten on both sides of the ball, as they continue to see their playoff hopes slipping away.
Joe Flacco had been having a solid season, and has kept the Lamar Jackson chatter at bay for the time being. However, his time as the starter in Baltimore may be coming to an end, but no matter who is under center next season, this team needs to get a long-term answer atĀ the wide receiver position.
Baltimore did bolster the position group this past offseason, bringing in guys like John Brown and Michael Crabtree. However, if they are picking outside of the playoff teams in the 2019 NFL Draft, they should to add a guy like AJ Brown, who is one of the more versatile wideouts this draft class has to offer.
Brown can not only stretch the field, but also go over the middle, and the Ravens need to add more weapons to this offense moving forward. They have the defense in place to be a perennial playoff team, but something is missing this season, in what could be the last of the Joe Flacco Era in Baltimore.
