Ricky Rubio
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – APRIL 25: Ricky Rubio

High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Ricky Rubio (at MIN – $5,600): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. Rubio has been inconsistent this season and the Jazz seem to go where he goes. But one thing I know about Rubio is that he’s going to deliver against the Timberwolves. There are still some bad feelings there and he’s always out to prove a point against them. He was over 30 fantasy points in three of four games against them last season. Diagnosis: Rubio always has something extra against his former team. And he has a proven high ceiling.

Derrick Rose (vs UTA – $4,900): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. Rose continues to look strong coming off the Minnesota bench. The Jazz are a tough matchup, which is why his salary is lowered despite his strong performances, but that just makes him easier to slot into your lineup. He’ll continue to rack up offensive numbers as the leader of the bench unit. Diagnosis: Keep rolling with Rose. He’s in a great position and remains a low cost.

Darren Collison (at NY – $4,700): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. Collison has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. I don’t know if the Tyreke Evans experiment is over, but it’s obvious for now that Collison is a better option due to his familiarity with the team. The Knicks should always be taken advantage of. Diagnosis: Looks to have earned his minutes back, which is a good sign given his salary and the Pacers offense.
