High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (at PHO – $9,500): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. There’s no reason to go against DeRozan right now. He’s been over 60 fantasy points in three of his last four games. It’s unlikely that the Suns have any answer for him because, well, they are the Suns. Not only is DeRozan scoring, but he’s putting up the best assist numbers of his career. Diagnosis: Very high ceiling, played well all season, and up against the Suns. A lot to like with DeRozan.

Gary Harris (at CHI – $6,900): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. Harris had 46 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Oct. 29. He’s been good more often than not with Barton out of the lineup. He’s doing a bit of everything and the Bulls, while good offensively, have nothing going on the defensive end. Diagnosis: Pound this matchup. Harris has been great and the Bulls can’t stop anyone at the moment.

Klay Thompson (vs NO – $6,400): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. This sounds weird to say, but I look at Thompson as a higher ceiling JJ Redick. You know he’s going to get his shots. It’s just a matter of them going in. They weren’t going in for most of the season, but they obviously started to fall against the Pelicans. He’s still the third option on the Warriors, which can be a detriment given his salary. Diagnosis: Always a slight risk because of his role, but extremely high ceiling when he’s hot.
