High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

LeBron James (vs DAL – $11,300): Needs 51.6 fantasy points. LeBron is angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry. He’s been fantastic in this recent stretch and he’s the only trustworthy option on the Lakers. You know what you’re getting out of LeBron at this point. He’s going to do a bit of everything, be a triple-double threat, and bury his teammates if they lose. Diagnosis: The Mavericks defense is poor and LeBron is LeBron. He may have to take over games even more than usual if the Lakers continue down this road.

Jimmy Butler (vs UTA – $8,200): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. The Jazz are a tough matchup, but Butler has proven that he’s going to drag the Timberwolves with him this season. He had 54.5 fantasy points against the Lakers on Oct. 29. He was solid against the Jazz last season, averaging 40.9 fantasy points in two games. Diagnosis: Butler will always look to get his numbers, even if the matchup is rough.

Tim Hardaway Jr (vs IND – $6,800): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr is averaging 36.7 fantasy points in seven games this season. Scoring has not been an issue for him and he’s chipping in with assists and rebounds to up his value. The Pacers defense remains a question mark. Hardaway has a good salary and another big opportunity to be well over value. Diagnosis: He’ll get his points and do enough in other categories to be a strong low end high salary option.
