DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 31, 2018

High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Kevin Durant (vs NO – $9,600): Needs 43.8 fantasy points. Durant is always tricky due to the Warriors being the Warriors. He had 34.2 fantasy points against the Bulls on Oct. 29. It was Klay Thompson’s night, so Durant had to fall back. I’d expect him to be better against the Pelicans because he’s still higher on the pecking order than Thompson. Diagnosis: Been great this season and no reason to doubt him just because Klay got hot.
LaMarcus Aldridge (at PHO – $8,500): Needs 39.2 fantasy points. Aldridge has underperformed in four out of his last five. DeRozan has become the focal point of the offense, which has hurt Aldridge’s numbers. But we’re talking about the Suns here. His scoring and rebounding numbers should be up. If he fails to deliver, I’ll move on. But I can’t help but take advantage of the Suns. Diagnosis: A risk based on recent play. But a great matchup.
Julius Randle (at GS – $6,500): Needs 30 fantasy points. If Anthony Davis doesn’t end up playing, Randle should get more playing time. He had 44.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Oct. 29. Even if Davis plays, it’ll mean less attention on Randle, opening up the game for him even more. He averaged 36.1 fantasy points in four games against the Warriors last season. Diagnosis: Circumstances could mean a big night. The Warriors are still vulnerable on the inside and the Pelicans have plenty of inside talent.
