Next Game: vs Louisville

Clemson running back Travis Etienne has been making a name for himself all season. Although he didn’t have a huge day in the blowout win against Florida State last week (I think the trainers were taking snaps before the first half was over), he still helped lead the way for the Tigers to remain undefeated.

Etienne’s gift is timing. He’s one of the best running backs in the nation, but there may not be a better back at coming up with the big run when his team needs it the most.

We may see a repeat of last week when the Tigers take on Louisville. The Cardinals rank near the bottom of the nation (125th) in rushing defense, giving up 250 yards per game on the ground. Between Etienne, Christian Wilkins and Trevor Lawrence, the score may be out of hand before half the fans find their seats.

This would be a great game for Etienne to put up some big numbers, have a seat early and stay healthy for the stretch run.
