It’s been reported that WWE legend and controversial figure Hulk Hogan is being scheduled to return at Crown Jewel this friday, according to a screenshot uploaded by PWInsider of Hogan being advertised on WWE’s events page.

With one of WWE’s most controversial PPV events being set to broadcast this friday, it’s being reported by PWInsider that Hulk Hogan is scheduled to appear at the Crown Jewel event, thus making his first appearance since his departure from WWE in mid-2015. PWInsider uploaded a screenshot of Hogan being advertised on WWE’s events page, which appears to confirm his involvement with Crown Jewel. Hogan himself has even gone on record to claim that he is going to Crown Jewel, as he went on to state his anticipation for his arrival at the PPV, according to an interview he gave with the Orlando Sentinel.

“There are a lot of plans in the works. I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania — but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace,” Hogan said.

“It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.”

Pro Wrestling Sheet has also reported that WWE has confirmed to them that Hulk Hogan will be guest hosting Crown Jewel, which gives him a pretty important role for the show. With wrestling legends scheduled to appear at Crown Jewel such as Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio and even Shawn Michaels, it makes sense for WWE to try to rack up all of the big-time names in wrestling to show up at the PPV, especially considering both John Cena and Daniel Bryan are officially out of the event. With Hogan being back with WWE at least for this Friday’s event, will fans get to experience Hogan even more for the future, or is this planned for just a one-time deal?
