High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Jamal Murray (at CLE – $7,400): Needs 33.6 fantasy points. Murray had 32.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Wednesday. A bit disappointing given the matchup and the minutes he played, but he put up well-rounded numbers and we know he’s capable of more when it comes to scoring. The Cavaliers got their “fired coach” game boost. I don’t know it it’ll happen again against a much better team. Diagnosis: High ceiling with a great matchup. The back-to-back is a bit worrying, but otherwise, there’s a lot to like with the matchup.

Khris Middleton (at BOS – $7,200): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. The only thing holding Middleton back right now is the Bucks being too good. The Celtics figure to put up the best fight the Bucks have seen in over a week, which means Middleton will get the minutes for a big game. I’ve loved his game all season and against a competitive team, he’ll deliver. Diagnosis: If nothing else, he’s reliable. But the matchup should mean bigger things for him on Thursday.

Buddy Hield (at ATL – $6,400): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. I’m taking Hield with all the confidence in the world right now. He’s delivering on a nightly basis and looking better with each game. The Hawks are at the bottom of the East and offer very little defense. Hield should get plenty of points and rebounds. Diagnosis: Red hot with a fantastic matchup. Love this play.
