High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Nemanja Bjelica (at ATL – $6,200): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. This might be the last time you’ll get Bjelica at a value salary, so take advantage of it. Especially with this matchup. He’s been great for the Kings this season and remains their top option at small forward. Atlanta would be taken advantage of. Diagnosis: Great matchup, high ceiling, great salary.

Robert Covington (vs LAC – $5,400): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. Covington has been over 30 fantasy points in the last three games. With Dario Saric struggling, the Sixers have needed and gotten more out of Covington. He’s making up a lot of his value with defense, which isn’t always trustworthy, but he’s scoring well to help keep him reliable. Diagnosis: Playing well, but I am worried that his value is mainly tied to his defense right now.

Marcus Morris (vs MIL – $5,100): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. Morris has also been over 30 fantasy points in three straight. If Jaylen Brown is unable to play, it’ll mean more minutes for Morris. And with Gordon Hayward still struggling and playing limited minutes, Morris has stepped up. Diagnosis: Will get his shots and contributes plenty on the glass. Should play a big role against the Bucks.
