DraftKings European League Basketball Picks November 2

We are back to balanced rotations in the EuroLeague this around with four Thursday and four Friday games.

More from College Basketball Odds

The money line was way down to 112.5 DraftKings points yesterday. The stab at Olympiacos value and Kopponen kept me under the cash line.

The winning entry was only 144.75 DraftKings points. He built around Matt Janning, Poirier, and Ante Tomic. He got big value from Stefan Jovic and Angelo Caloiaro.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

Guards:

It’s Alexey Shved day! You know, the guy who hasn’t been under 41 DraftKings points yet this year. Pay for him and enjoy. I really can’t recommend a fade here because it has been really hard to cash without him.

With Nemanja Nedovic out, I view Mike James as almost on the same level as Shved at a much lower price. Nick Calathes is going to be lower owned, but I think he falls quite a bit short of James and Shved.

This is a really tough matchup for Nate Wolters. Tough enough that I would use Rodrigue Beaubois instead for $200 less. An equally tough matchup for Clevin Hannah also has me leaning towards Facundo Campazzo as well if you are looking for alternatives in this tier.

The whole Efes backcourt is so talented that I believe they sap the fantasy value from each other. It’s kind of like it is with college football stateside with the West Virginia and Texas Tech receivers. You never know who is going to have the big game. Beaubois is the safe one. After that, I look for the most value potential. That looks to be Micic right now,Ā  but it’s still a crapshoot.

The price is finally rising on Dee Bost, but he is still ridiculously cheap for the kind of production he is providing. Nemanja Gordic is a solid value play, but with Bost just $100 more, I’m not using Gordic unless I use both of them.

Edwin Jackson remains one of the most consistent value plays, but with good matchups at low prices, I think I would rather move towards Dairis Bertans or Stefan Markovic.

Forwards:

Adrien Moerman has been really good so far this year, but I’m still a little hesitant to pay five figures for him. Today I would rather use Anthony Gill or Brandon Davies because of the matchup.

Chris Evans has a good enough matchup that it is acceptable to fade the whole Milan frontcourt here in a tough matchup and move to Evans instead. We are to the point in the season where we can start to see some trends. We can follow the matchups pretty reliably at this point.

Coty Clarke and Tibor Pleiss both look pretty good in the middle tier here. That said, I think I would rather save the money and use DJ Strawberry. Either that or use all three and avoid the top tier all together.

James Gist, Earl Clark, and Alen Omic are all back to better matchups this week. I see Strawberry with higher upside, but he is also more volatile that all three of these options. Clark has suitable upside and so does Omic.

Anzejs Pasecniks is playing well lately, and the matchup is right to use him as a value pick. Eulis Baez is worth a look in this tier as well.

Jordan Mickey is going to be a chalk value play today, but I’m not really sure how you avoid it. Aaron White and Edgaras Ulanovas look underpriced against Real Madrid as well.
