FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks For November 1st
FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks For November 1st
Good afternoon DFS grinders welcome back to another addition of my Fanduel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks cash article. I hope you guys decided on Derrick Rose last night. I had him written up in here but decided to go with a Tyus Jones Elie Okobo combo for the savings. All 3 of my guys went off so it didn’t really matter which route you went (of course not the Tyus Jones but we wont bring him up). I hope you all watched the reemergence of Derrick Rose last night all the post game stuff brought a tear to my eye I love seeing him succeed through all that adversity.
So getting back to things we have a fun 6 game slate tonight this isn’t normally a cash slate but I would recommend when playing cash play a lot of H2Hs. A lot of my cheap tier plays will end up being more GPP plays than cash plays because there has been a ton of injury news today to open up value for us to work with. Maybe we will get some rest news like yesterday that will open this slate up nicely. Remember to follow me on twitter @dfs_joey for any injury updates that change the slate and adds great value.

FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Point Guard
Top Tier
Russell Westbrook 12k: He is one for the safest cash plays because the rebounds and assist numbers give him an amazing floor. I thought last game going up against Patrick Beverly one of the best defenders in the league he would be slowed down but that wasn’t the case. I don’t see much changing tonight and if you want an easy 50 raw points from him with huge upside he’s your guy.
Middle Tier
Kyrie Irving 7.6k: This is going to be a great game to watch two of the best teams in the east. Irving has had his highs and lows scoring this season. They played Detroit in back to back games first game 3 points second game 31 points. He has the peripherals to make him a great floor and if his shot is on he’s breaking that value easily.
Cheap Tier
Collin Sexton 5k: He’s in a great spot here and he’s a great guard and they need to slowly stop giving George Hill less minutes in this rebuilding team. He’s shooting bad but still needs is putting up shots. This seems like a buy low spot for a guy still getting 5x+ with a shot not falling. He will continue to put up shots and they will start falling at one point.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Shooting Guard
Top Tier
Jrue Holiday 8.3k: Anthony Davis and Elfrid Payton (probable) being back may look like it hurts him, but I have no problem playing him here. He’s a much better player than Buddy Hield and I could see ownership going to him over Holiday but the matchup for Holiday is better. The way to attack Portland is from the SG and in the highest O/U on the slate I want to have him as a staple of my lineups.
Middle Tier
Monte Morris 4.9k: He has been in a slump lately after killing in the first half of his games. This game I could see being a blowout with Cleveland in full rebuild mode against a great Nuggets team. Morris has thrived in against the second units and I could see him playing big minutes here in a blowout.
Cheap Tier
Vince Carter 3.6k: He’s going up against his old team in the Kings. They got rid of him to go with a young approach. He is seeing mid 20s minutes just about every night and that shouldn’t change tonight as he’s been starting every game. This is a fun play if you are looking for value on this small slate.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Small Forward
Top Tier
Giannis Antetokounmpo 11.5k: He should be good to go tonight against Boston. The league is very strict about concussions so if he’s cleared I have no problem playing him tonight it’s not like he’s coming off an ankle injury and is being rushed back not a 100%. We get him at a discount tonight I normally see him at 12k+. This game should stay close so we don’t have to worry about blowout risk like in the other games where he gets less than 30 minutes. When he gets over 30 minutes he’s gotten 50+ points in every game so I have no problem playing him in this matchup here.
Middle Tier
Nemanja Bjelica 7.2k: This man has been crazy good the past 4 games he’s gotten 30 +minutes in all those games and has reached or almost reached 40 points in every game. He’s been extremely efficient shooting the ball which scares me that will decrease and he will lose his value but in a game like this with 2 of the highest pace teams in the league he should be able to get plenty of shots and rebounds to reach value.
Cheap Tier
E’Twaun Moore 4.4k: Last year he had his best games with 0 days rest so I have no problem playing him he with in the B2B. I love this game here and he provides some great cheap exposure. I know the matchup isn’t the best for a numbers stand point for SFs but that doesn’t scare me off this play at all.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Power Forward
Top Tier
Anthony Davis 12.8k: He’s playing a B2B where last night he struggled mightily, but in the 4th quarter he exploded for 22 fantasy points to save his night and not be a complete bust. I’m hoping that keeps people off him tonight where he’s in a smash spot vs Portland. The elbow scares me and his shooting was awful but he still managed to almost drop a triple double. Portland has no one to defend him and they are one of the best teams to target for the center. I know he’s not a true center but when he does slide over to the center role for half the game the matchup doesn’t get much worse.
Middle Tier
Marvin Bagley 5.5k: Troy Williams somehow played 33 minutes last game and he’s out tonight so that frees up a ton of Forward minutes. I would assumed a bunch of that goes to Bagley and he gets over the 30 minute mark. Bagley continually reached over 1 fantasy point per minute in just about every game he has played this season. The 2 games he played more than 30 minutes he had 44.1 and 46.3 now he has Atlanta which puts him in a great spot.

Cheap Tier
Marcus Morris 4.7k: He’s been playing off the bench which is perfect to challenge the Buck with. With Giannis on the bench and Ersan will most likely be guarding him that is no concern to me. With Gordon Hayward not playing big minutes I would expect Morris to continue to have this gret production. Morris is second on the team with usage percentage with 20.8% which helps that he doesn’t play with most of the starters all game.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks – Center
Top Tier
Joel Embiid 10.9k: This man is just a stud and if you are paying up at center lock this man in. He will have an easy time while matched up against Marcin Gortat (not sure why he even plays). He’s already had 5 30/10 games so far this season and we could be in store for another one here. LA is allowing 25 points 14 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. All those numbers will get a nice boost when they face a dominate center like Embiid.
Middle Tier
Willie Cauley-Stein 7.3k: Both Atlanta and Sacramento are in the bottom 5 in the league of allowing rebounds per game to centers. What this means to me is both teams chuck up a ton of shots so there are a ton of rebounds to go around. I would expect that number to increase more than usual tonight with both teams playing at the pace they do.
