DraftKings CFB picks November 2: Put the Colorado offense on display. The offense isnāt the problem. The defense is.
We have three more games on Friday night, which gives us another college football slate on DraftKings. Unlike last night, we have four Power Five teams and some potent offenses to go with it. This could be a little tougher build.

The money line ended up at only 123.92 DraftKings points last night. I used both UCF running backs, and either of them hit. It was the other two that hit big, but luckily, no one played one of them. Such is the UCF offense. Fading Milton and using Russo paid off as well. Well enough to put me above the cash line. Just a guess, but I think we are going to need a lot more than that to cash tonight.
The scoring for NCAA football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap! There is also late swap, which is essential for contests with start times spanning several hours.

DraftKings College Football Picks November 2
Top Tier:
After seeing what Arizona did to Oregon last week, Iām a little nervous about Steven Montez. He is still the most potent quarterback on this slate, but without Shenault, there are just too many drops by the Colorado receivers.
Many are going to see what Khalil Tate did last week and proclaim him as back. What heās going to do to this Colorado defense could help cement that. However, I think Iām going with the under the radar pick of Brent Stockstill. We canāt underestimate how horrible the Western Kentucky defense has been lately. Colorado and Arizona are horrible on defense, but the Hilltoppers are worse. Stockstill could quietly have a huge game.
Middle Tier:
Bryce Perkins and the Virginia offense have woke up over the past two weeks. Perkins has back to back 30+ DraftKings point games, and could have a third here against a Pitt defense that loves to give up yards and points.
Bargain Shoppers:
Kenny Pickett is going to have to throw a lot here to keep up, but I donāt trust him against this Virginia defense. This defense has been outstanding lately, and I am going to have a hard time trusting Pitt players anywhere, even on a short slate.
A much better option looks like whoever starts at quarterback for Western Kentucky. Middle Tennessee State is probably going to turn this into a shootout, forcing the Hilltoppers to try and keep up. Drew Eckels at just $5,100 could be an absolute steal.

Top Tier:
J.J. Taylor went bonkers on Oregon last week, but Coloradoās run defense hasnāt really been the problem. It has been the pass defense. Still, using a talent like Taylor against a questionable defense as a whole is never a bad idea. Especially when you have Qadree Ollison trying to run against Virginiaās front. This looks like a night to spend on the passing game and pluck a couple of value backs.
Middle Tier:
Olamide Zaccheaus has caught 20 passes out of the backfield in the last two games. When you take into account the PPR status of DraftKings, those are some massive numbers just on receptions alone!
If you donāt trust that the receptions will remain for Zaccheaus, Travon McMillian is Coloradoās workhorse. He could have a big game since I think Arizonaās big defensive game was mostly a fluke.
Terelle West was used sparingly early in the season, but ran for 120 yards last week. However, that was the first time West had more than three carries in a game and he still only toted the ball 13 times. How much do you trust that the touches will keep coming?
Bargain Shoppers:
Jordan Ellis still gets most of the carries for Virginia, but he hasnāt posted a 100 yard game since week 3, and he is only playing a little more than half the snaps.
The wheel has landed on Joshua Samuel in the Western Kentucky backfield of late. He has 170 rushing yards over the last two games, but Ferby keeps poaching his touchdowns.

If Laviska Shenault is back, play him with supreme confidence. If not, play K.D. Nixon with supreme confidence. You want at least one Colorado wideout against Arizona.

Middle Tier:
Which Arizona receiver do you want? I prefer Shun Brown because of the big play ability, but Shawn Poindexter is emerging as the target hog. Honestly, I think I may play them both. Colorado handed out chunk plays like candy on Halloween to the Beavers last week.
Ty Lee has posted double digit DraftKings points in five straight games. I prefer Leeās consistency to Lucky Jackson or Patrick Smith.
Bargain Shoppers:
The only Pitt players I am even remotely considering are the receivers. Maurice Ffrench has been huge with Taysir Mack out. If Mack returns, I prefer him over Ffrench because he was targeted more with both players on the field.
If Virginia throws to a receiver, it is most likely Hasise Dubois. Joe Reed is worth a look as well, but if going that low, I think I would rather take the chance that Mikwaun Deane breaks one.
