ESPN’s College GameDay will be live from Baton Rouge on Saturday, as No. 3 LSU hosts No. 1 Alabama.

The biggest battle of the college football season takes place in Baton Rouge on Saturday. No. 3 LSU will play host to the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide in a game with huge playoff implications on the line. ESPN’s College GameDay will be live on the scene to preview this huge game.

Both of these programs appeared in the top four of the first official College Football Playoff poll. This has always been one of the marquee games of the college football schedule, and with the Tigers playing their best football of the season, they will be a major test to Alabama’s perfect record.

Thus far, no one has been able to come close to slowing down Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The hero of last year’s National Championship Game has to be considered the Heisman favorite as he tears up the SEC.

Along with some dynamic wide receivers, the Alabama offense has taken flight in a way that a lot of people aren’t accustomed to normally seeing from them. They execute well in all phases of the game and their defense remains a menace to any opposition.

However, Ed Orgeron knows a thing or two about upsets and perhaps no one else in college football can fire up their squad the way he does. He understands the importance of what is going to take place on the field and where a win would take the program. This is the biggest game this week, and Lee Corso along with the rest of the crew will break it all down on Saturday.
