3. Running back: Kenyan Drake vs. New York Jets

Kenyan Drake has really been consistent throughout the 2018 season. Drake averages 42 rushing yards per game and 24 receiving yards per game. His five total touchdowns have helped a muddled Miami backfield this season. In Week 8, Drake really separated himself from fellow teammate Frank Gore. Rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown, while also catching two balls for 37 yards and another score.

It’s clear this man needs more touches if the Dolphins want a fighting chance this season. Drake can do it all, from catching out of the backfield to running between the tackles. Going forward he is definitely a player that needs to be utilized in every way on every format. The Dolphins desperately need Drake to keep performing at a high level with their starting quarterback out yet again.

The New York Jets defense is nothing to fear, especially with this being a rivalry game. The Jets have allowed 374 yards per game to opposing offenses this season. Coming in 21st-ranked against the rush, Drake will feast on this defense. Drake’s skill set allows him to be potent in the passing game as well, coming into Week 9 just shy of 200 receiving yards at 197 on 27 receptions and two scores.

Drake might not be the most flashy player to add but he can definitely score like the rest. Don’t sleep on him this week in a big divisional matchup that the Dolphins desperately need to win. Frank Gore will have his part but Drake shouldn’t let you down because of it. He is a must play going forward with the Jets allowing roughly 105 rushing yards per game this season.

Prediction: 50 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards, 2 total touchdowns
