Here’s everything you need to know regarding the Washington State-California game on Saturday, including how to watch online and bet.

The Washington State Cougars have been a pleasant surprise in the Pac 12 this season. The North division was pegged once again as the tougher division in the Pac 12, but the Cougars have played very well so far, sitting atop the standings at 4-1 (7-1 overall). In their last two weeks, the Cougars upset Oregon at home with a 14-point win and shocked Stanford on the road, 41-38. This week, they head back home, where they are 4-0 this season.

California has had a rockier season in the Pac 12 thus far, sitting at 2-3 in the conference and 5-3 overall. Their biggest loss was a rough one, losing 37-7 to a struggling UCLA team. They have bounced back with two straight wins, one of those coming against the Washington Huskies.

Given how inconsistent the conference has been thus far, it’s hard to predict what will happen on Saturday night for Pac 12 after dark. One thing is for certain: Gardner Minshew will continue his hot start to the season. Minshew transferred from East Carolina after the 2017 season, and got the opening game start for the Cougars. They haven’t looked back, and Minshew is a big reason why they are atop the standings. He has over 3000 passing yards so far and a 26:6 touchdown to interception ratio.

Minshew will be tested this week. Cal put together a dominant performance against the Huskies last week, putting pressure on Jake Browning all night. The Cal defense is only allowing 3.7 yards per carry and a 57 percent completion by opposing quarterbacks. Minshew will see plenty of pressure from this team, and he will need to make smart decisions.

Here’s How To Watch and Bet

  • Date: Saturday, Nov. 2
  • Time: 10:45 p.m. ET
  • Location: Pullman, WA
  • Stadium: Martin Stadium
  • Spread: Washington State -9.5
  • TV Channel:  ESPN

Prediction: While the Cal defense was on its game last week, traveling to Pullman will be a tough test, especially with the way Minshew is playing for the Cougars. If Cal had a more consistent offense, the chance of an upset would be higher. However, the Cougars offense is dealing right now, and don’t expect it to stop. It might not be a 40 point showing, but the Cougars will be comfortable in this game.

Final Score: Washington State 30, Cal 17
