Mickey’s 90th Spectacular airs tonight on ABC primetime starting at 8 p.m. ET. You can catch the special event live from the comfort of your laptop at ABC’s official live stream. Tonight celebrates 90 years of Walt Disney’s iconic mouse, an anniversary to remember. Director Don Mischer who directed The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson is directing the 90th Spectacular.
According to D23, The Official Disney Fan Club, featured guest stars include Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, Kristen Bell, Kelsea Ballerini, Sofia Carson, Anna Camp, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sage Steele, Skylar Astin, Tony Hale, Josh Gad, Miles Brown, Bobby Burgess and Sharon Baird, and Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger.
Musical performers include Meghan Trainor, Zac Brown Band, Josh Groban, Tori Kelly, NCT 127, Leslie Odom Jr. and Luis Fonsi.
Tori Kelly will perform the “Colors of the Wind” from Disney film Pocahontas.

With Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary upon us, it would be a great time to see a remastered version of Mickey Mania arrive on modern consoles. It was one of the special video game experiences of the time that truly captured the essence of Mickey, particular when the black and white cartoon background in the first level slowly changed to color as you progressed in Steamboat Willie.
Castle of Illusion has previously been remastered by Sega, albeit in 3D. It would be great to Mickey Mania arrive still in its hand drawn style just with even more of a wow factor behind it. Arc System Works who are known for Guilty Gear X and most recently Dragon Ball FighterZ would be a great choice to make that freshly minted animated look come to life.
