The Greek Freak was in full force last night and as Giannis Antetokounmpo threw down a thunderous dunk that is worthy of becoming the new NBA logo.

What else is there to say about the Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo? He is now playing in his sixth season in the NBA, continuing to improve his game, has the Bucks looking like a potential force in the Eastern Conference and is still only 23-years old. As we have become accustomed to over the last few seasons, Giannis is a human highlight real waiting to happen each time he takes the court.

Standing at 6-foot-11, and a wingspan reaching 7-foot-3, you can feel the force that he brings in the open floor with his powerful dunks. His latest victim was Kosta Koufos of the Sacramento Kings, after Giannis blew by his defender and threw the hammer down when Koufos tried to switch onto him.

The dunk was so amazing to see that it may be worthy of changing the NBA logo to the silhouette of his slam. The Bucks have been rolling through the early portion of the season, boasting an 8-1 record with their only loss coming against a very talented Boston Celtics team. Led by Giannis and their new head coach Mike Budenholzer, Milwaukee looks like a balanced team on both ends of the floor.

Giannis is averaging a stellar 26.1 points, 13.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1 steal per game through eight games played this season, and there’s no reason to think he can’t keep this up. He has looked like an early MVP candidate and will look to lead Milwaukee to a deep playoff run.

The season is still young and the Bucks still have a long way to go to prove that they belong among the Eastern Conference elites, but the early returns have been great.
