NFL quarterback rankings, Week 10: Matt Ryan is playing insanely well
Aaron Brooks Division
25. Case Keenum (LW: 26)
Keenum finally played a game without turning the ball over, only to be undone by horrid coaching a and a pair of missed field goals. Regardless, Keenum is a league-average starter at his best and a backup quarterback on most days. Denver will look to upgrade this coming offseason, although it won’t be easy to move on from his $16 million salary.
24. Marcus Mariota (LW: 24)
Mariota is veering more and more into Bustland. The Titans simply need to get some bigger chunk plays out of him, and not just a quarterback who can make some yardage with his legs and not turn the ball over in the red zone. That’s not enough to win anything significant.
23. Mitchell Trubisky (LW: 22)
Bears fans are never happy with my opinion of Trubisky, but here we are. He’s a young player with upside, especially with Matt Nagy at the helm. However, his stats are skewed by a six-touchdown performance against the Buccaneers. Other than that, his stat line is littered with games that belong in a 1995 box score.
22. Baker Mayfield (LW: 23)
Mayfield is struggling with the Browns, but who doesn’t? The No. 1 overall pick has thrown for 10 touchdowns and is completing 60 percent of his throws, despite Antonio Callaway actively trying to drop anything that hits his hands. There’s plenty to be excited about here.
21. Derek Carr (LW: 20)
Carr looks completely and utterly broken. The only reasons he remains this high on the list is because there are a good amount of atrocious quarterbacks, and because once he escapes Jon Gruden, he could bounce back.
