NFL quarterback rankings, Week 10: Matt Ryan is playing insanely well
Bob Waterfield Division
12. Ben Roethlisberger (LW: 10)
Roethlisberger is having an average year by his standards. The Steelers re rolling with four straight wins at 5-2-1, but Big Ben has only 16 touchdowns against seven interceptions on the campaign. Pittsburgh has thrown an absurd 344 times, the third-most of any team behind only the Ravens and Vikings.
11. Deshaun Watson (LW: 12)
Despite playing with myriad injuries, Watson has done the job in Houston, leading the Texans to six consecutive victories. The second-year man out of Clemson has thrown for 2,389 yards with 17 touchdowns, helping Houston to a sizable lead in the AFC South.
10. Kirk Cousins (LW: 11)
Cousins is throwing the rock all over the field, mostly to Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. The result? Minnesota is 5-3-1 and only percentage points behind the Bears in the NFC North. Cousins isn’t a superstar, but he’s solid, and worth every cent of what Minnesota is paying him.
9. Andrew Luck (LW: 9)
Luck has come back from a harrowing shoulder injury to reclaim his spot as one of the league’s best. The Colts are only 3-5, but their quarterback is rolling to the tune of 23 touchdowns, second-most in football to Patrick Mahomes. It’s been wonderful to see Luck playing at such a high level.
