Hey guys! We’re back with another weekend of football. With a pretty good Week 9 of Lock Plays, lets keep the momentum rolling and get a head start on our contest!

Fantasy Football: Week 9 Recap

We hit on four of the five fantasy football lock plays with some pretty good value! The one that didn’t hit for us was Devin Funchess who finished with just 8.40 fantasy points. Next comes the exploit of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense with Greg Olsen who finished with 19.60 points.

DeAndre Hopkins did what we expected and finished with 29.50. Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams did lose to the New Orleans Saints but Goff finished with 33.34 while in Kansas City, Kareem Hunt finished with 33.10. Week 9 treated us pretty well and lets hope that Week 10 does the same!

Fantasy Football Locks: Alvin Kamara

Salary: Draftkings: $8,700 | Fanduel: $9,000

Coming off a huge win against the Los Angeles Rams, the New Orleans Saints get to face the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend who are struggling on defense.

Ranking 32nd against the pass, allowing 319 yards per game, and ranking 26th against the run, allowing 128 yards per game. This gives Alvin Kamara the prime match-up.

The Bengals are also giving up close to 10 receptions per games to running-backs, allowing them 53 yards through the air. Alvin Kamara is averaging 61 yards on the ground and 53 yards through the air on the season with 9 touchdowns rushing and 3 receiving.

Mark Ingram hasn’t had a major impact on Kamara besides the first game back from his suspension where Kamara saw basically nothing that game. Since Week 5 and after their bye week, Kamara scored 15.5, 26.6, and 33.6 fantasy points, showing it’s his position and his to lose if he wanted too.

Fantasy Football Locks: Tyler Boyd

Salary: Draftkings: $7,500 | Fanduel: $7,800

Staying in the same game for now but on the other side of the football, Tyler Boyd is in a spot for a major increase in his role as A.J. Green is now out for extended time with a toe injury. Boyd has had a pretty good showing for the 2018 season as he is averaging 77 yards per game and has a 74 percent catch rate.

Also, he has 8 touchdowns on the season which should increase this weekend. Thee New Orleans Saints are up there with the Cincinnati Bengals with their pass defense as they rank 31st and allow 311 yards per game.

With Boyd now becoming the number one receiver, the Saints will most likely struggle guarding him as they are ranked 32nd against them, allowing close to 7 receptions per game and 88 yards per game. This could turn into another close one with the Saints like they did against the Rams last week, giving Boyd a lot more opportunities to go off.

Fantasy Football Locks: David Johnson

Salary: Draftkings: $6,800 | Fanduel: $6,900

Coming in at a good price, David Johnson gets to face the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend who rank 25th against the run, allowing 124 yards per game. David Johnson hasn’t been the best by any means, especially in an offense that can’t figure anything out as a whole.

On the season, Johnson is averaging 49 yards on the ground per game with just 5 touchdowns and in the receiving game, he’s only averaging 26 yards through the air with one lonely receiving touchdown.

The Chiefs have given up 10 rushing touchdowns on the season already which just gives more push to play David Johnson. He may not rack up incredible numbers but through rushing and receiving combined, we should see him exceed value easily.

Fantasy Football Locks: Aaron Rodgers

Salary: Draftkings: $6,400 | Fanduel: $8,600

Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been the MVP or “Hall of Fame” caliber quarterback at all this season. He only has two games where he exceeds the 30 points mark but he has also been battling an injury all season long.

But this weekend, Rodgers gets to face the Miami Dolphins who allow 258 yards through the air, coming in at 22nd on the rankings. The Dolphins fail to cover the number one receivers very well and struggle against running-backs utilized in the passing game.

We know there has been criticism of the way that the Packers offense has been ran all season but as long as DeVante Adams and Rodgers come in to the game clicking, expect Rodgers to have his comeback moment and get back on track with his fantasy football dominance.

Fantasy Football Locks: Austin Hooper

Salary: Draftkings: $3,800 | Fanduel: $5,800

Coming back to one of my favorite tight ends this season because they all seems to hate me, Austin Hooper has a nice match-up with the Cleveland Browns. While the Browns are slowly transitioning to a new coaching regime, they rank 27th against the pass and allow 285 yards per game.

They do play defense well against tight ends, ranking 3rd against the position but they do allow 50 yards per game. Those stats do align perfectly with Austin Hoopers yards per game as he averages 45 yards.

The plus side to playing Hooper is that Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley are his teammates who take majority of the attention giving Hooper the perfect chance this weekend to find the end-zone once again.
