Welcome to week 10 of the NFL and our NFL FantasyDraft Optimal Cash Lineup build! This week we have a less projected high scoring affairs as in previous weeks, and there is 60 point projected total, but the Bengals and Saints game is close at 55 point projected total.

For NFL FantasyDraft this week we will be building around two teams who faced off last week in the Falcons and Redskins as well as some current and ex-Cleveland Brown wide receivers.

There is also the aforementioned Bengals and Saints game to use as well, but a lot of their players are priced high, but once we get a clearer picture of who may step up AJ Green’s absence we can definitely add him to our lineups to open up some value to maybe add a Micheal Thomas or Alvin Kamara as well.

NFL FantasyDraft Quarterback:

Matt Ryan ($11.9K) – Matty Ice has started heating up and he has an ideal matchup with the Cleveland Browns who are ranked 27th in passing yards allowed on the season and are allowing 318 yards per game to qb’s over the last 3 games which is the 29th in the league over that stretch. Ryan has one over 300 yards in 3 straight games and has a 74% completion percentage in those 3 games.

Other options: Andy Dalton ($11K) Baker Mayfield ($10.6)

NFL FantasyDraft Running Backs

Melvin Gordon ($17K) – Gordon gets to play the Raiders this week, and that’s pretty much all you need to know. If you saw the Raiders “play” against the 49ers in week 9 then you know that the Raiders have pretty much mailed it in. Gordon is in the top 10 in rushing yards (579) and has 10 total touchdowns on the season. Gordon will get his touches and more than likely end up in the end zone a couple of times this week as well.

Aaron Jones ($10.4K) – In week 10 Aaron Jones gets to run the ball against a Dolphins team who is 31st in the league in rushing yards allowed in the last three games (only Oakland is worse) with 169 yards allowed per game.

Other options: Tevin Coleman ($10.1K) David Johnson ($12.7)

NFL FantasyDraft Wide Receivers

Julio Jones ($15.7) – Well Julio finally got the touchdown monkey off his back when he got into the end zone last week. I like pairing Julio and Ryan this week against a bad Cleveland secondary that as I mentioned earlier how they are 29th in passing yards allowed. I don’t see anyone on the Browns secondary who can cover Jones and with how well Matt Ryan is playing it could be another huge day for the Falcons passing attack.

Maurice Harris ($8.5K) – Maurice Harris had a breakout week last week against Atlanta when he took 10 catches for 124 yards. This week he gets to run routes against the leagues 31st ranked pass defense of Tampa. With Richardson already out for the year and it looking like Crowder might not play it will leave Harris as the top option for Alex Smith.

Other options: Josh Gordon ($11.3K) Jarvis Landry ($11.7)

NFL FantasyDraft Tight End

Jordan Reed ($8K) – Reed gets a matchup with Tampa who is 30th in the NFL against tight ends on the season. Reed hasn’t had a great season but this is an opportunity for Reed to finally have a big game this week and might even get back into the end zone for the first time since week 1.

Other options: Jonnu Smith ($5K) Trey Burton ($7.4K)

NFL FantasyDraft DST

New England Patriots ($5.3K) – New England isn’t the best defense in the league, ranking 28th in pass defense, but they get a bad Tennesse Titans offense that ranks 29th in league in points per game only averaging 16.8. Tennessee also allows over 3 sacks per game on the season and over 5 sacks per game in their last 3 games.

Other options: Eagles ($5.7K)  Jets ($6.7K)
