The Cleveland Browns said goodbye to head coach Hue Jackson, and offensive coordinator Todd Haley prior to their game against Kansas City last week, and they still had the same results. This is a Browns team that should have a better record than their current 2-5-1 mark, and after adding a bunch of talent this offseason, this fan base has to be itching for some winning.

Jackson was a terrible head coach, and was never going to turn things around in Cleveland. They have a great general manager in John Dorsey, and an electric young quarterback in Baker Mayfield, who could end up being a perennial Pro Bowl player by the time he is done.

If the Browns want to continue to help Mayfield grow, they should look to add a weapon early in the 2019 NFL Draft, and N’Keal Harry would be a perfect fit for the team. Harry is one of the more explosive players in college football, and is fresh off a three-touchdown performance last weekend, so he is only getting stronger as the year goes on.

Cleveland does have the talent to win games, and they lost a couple late prior to Jackson’s firing. Turning the page was a smart move, as there has just been too much losing with Jackson at the helm, and now they can look to the future, and start adding pieces around a quarterback who is going to be a good one.
