Fantasy Football: Impactful NFL DFS Injuries: Week 10
With extensive coverage of the National Football League and how it pertains to fantasy sports, information about Fantasy Football Injuries to skill position players is easy to come by.
What’s not so easy to come by is actionable fantasy information regarding injuries to non-skill position players. We’ll be exploring some of the NFL DFS Injuries and how they may help you gain an edge week to week.
Washington Redskins Offensive Line
Washington will head to Tampa Bay with an offensive line that looks very different from the beginning of the year, as they will be without, Trent Williams, Shawn Lauvao, and Brandon Scherff.
Williams has been out with a thumb injury, Lauvao was carted off last week and was placed on IR with a torn ACL, and Scherff was also injured in last week’s game and was placed on IR with a torn pec.

Actionable Takeaway: This offensive line was a bright spot for Washington, and they helped hide the flaws of Alex Smith. Adding in the injury to Paul Richardson and all of sudden, things don’t look so bright for the Washington offense.
The line for this game has already moved out to the key number of three, and I would imagine that the Redskins struggle to move the ball. The Tampa Bay defense could be an interesting GPP play this week.
Darqueze Dennard – DB – Bengals
Darqueze Dennard has been ruled out again, and he will join Vontaze Burfict and Nick Vigil, on the sidelines.
Actionable Takeaway: These types of cluster injuries will do no favors to an already struggling Cincinnati defense. With these same players out, they allowed the Bucs to hang 34 points against them, and they’ll now be tasked with taking on the red hot New Orleans Saints.
I would expect the Saints to lean on the running game of Kamara and Ingram in this matchup.
Darius Slay – DB – Lions
Darius Slay miss practice again on Friday, suggesting that he should be out this weekend.
Actionable Takeaway: While I think this will be a low scoring affair, this does boost Allen Robinson‘s matchup. Robinson will return this week, and claims to be, “100%”. Slay is one of the best shadow corners in the league, and Bears’ receivers like Allen stand to benefit from his absence.
