College GameDay made their way to a cold and rainy Boston College for Week 11, and these were the best signs ahead of a matchup with Clemson.

The Clemson Tigers are one of four remaining undefeated teams in college football after the first 10 weeks of the season. What’s more, of those teams, Dabo Swinney’s team might have the easiest remaining schedule. However, their big test remaining involves a trip to face the Boston College Eagles on Saturday in Week 11. Thus, College GameDay almost had to head to the Northeast this week for that matchup.

Over the past few weeks, Clemson has been just demoralizing opponents, most recently hanging 77 points on Louisville. However, Boston College has shown that they compete with high level competition. More importantly, the Eagles possess the best defense that the Tigers will play in the regular season, meaning they could potentially cause freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence some problems.

Also a factor is the weather at home for the Eagles. Saturday held cold, rainy conditions for this top-25 ACC matchup. Subsequently, that throws a monkey wrench into how the offenses could perform for both teams.
