Beating the waiver wire in Week 11 would be a great thing for fantasy owners since we have six teams on a bye so let’s talk about Saturday Stashes!

Next week isn’t exactly a lot of powerhouse teams on a bye since some of them include the Bills, Jets and Dolphins but you do have teams like the Patriots, Browns and 49ers. Owners are going to need some Waiver Wire fill-ins for next week and the stakes get higher with each passing week. Let’s take a look at some Waiver Wire players you can throw on your bench now to get ahead of everyone else!

Josh Adams, RB – Philadelphia Eagles – This is still speculative but the Eagles rank 18th in rushing yards per game. They need someone to spark the rushing attack and it just might be Adams. I’m a little more comfortable in thinking his role will continue to grow since Darren Sproles had a setback with his injury. Getting involved in a three headed monster is a hard sell, especially with the Eagles. However, Adams led the team in carries the last time we saw Philly in action. It was just nine carries but he flashed in those chances as he totaled 61 yards. Despite the tough match-up against the Saints in Week 11, I’m very interested in having Adams on my bench in case he seizes this role.

Elijah McGuire, RB – New York Jets – McGuire is on a Week 11 bye but he’s showing much more promise that he could be heavily involved down the stretch run. Coming off a long-term injury, he saw more snaps than incumbent Isaiah Crowell in a game that was close the entire way. New York will have to play Josh McCown at quarterback for the injured Sam Darnold and that might not be the worst thing for the short term prospects of the Jets offense. McCown was actually rock solid last year and could provide the stability that Darnold was not. McGuire is a back that should see at least 10-12 touches every week and has some PPR upside with three receptions last week.

Willie Snead, WR – Baltimore Ravens – Before Week 10 kicks off, Cincinnati is allowing the fourth most points to receivers in football. Snead hasn’t been very flashy this season but he’s provided a very nice floor in PPR leagues. He’s either scored a touchdown or hit the five reception for 50 yards mark in seven of his nine games this season. That may not sound like a lot but if you can basically lock in 10 PPR points with the possibility for more in a fantastic matchup, there’s nothing wrong with that to get you onto the following week.

More from FanSided

Christian Kirk, WR – Arizona Cardinals – Kirk draws one of the best matchups in football right now because the Raiders are absolutely putrid. What’s funny is the fantasy points haven’t always been there for fantasy receivers because most teams don’t have to throw a ton against the Raiders. The Cardinals aren’t as bad of a team but I’m not sure they’re going to just run away with this game. Either way, it’s a great spot for Kirk and the Arizona offense. The rookie has been consistent lately with at least three receptions, 57 yards and two touchdowns in his last four games.

Dak Prescott, QB – Dallas Cowboys – It might seem crazy but this is the kind of the play that the Atlanta Falcons defense forces us to look at. It’s not always the most predictive stat, but Atlanta has allowed the seventh most rushing yards to quarterbacks so far this season and Prescott has been running a little bit more lately. He’s hit at least 30 yards rushing in three of the last four and has an actually good receiver now in Amari Cooper. The Falcons haven’t been able to stop anyone and even allowed Alex Smith to throw for 300 yards. It’s not often you can turn to Prescott but this is a cupcake matchup that he should be able to have a very solid game.

Chris Conley, WR – Kansas City Chiefs – This suggestion is totally based on Sammy Watkins and his status tomorrow. If Watkins is out, be ready to pounce on Conley and it’s possible Watkins might miss the next two games until the bye week for the Chiefs in Week 12. Obviously, I don’t know that’s what will happen but Watkins did have an MRI on his foot so it’s possible. If Conley were to start, he would get the Cardinals and potentially the Rams. Both those matchups are winnable and Conley could be a very nice WR/flex option until Watkins gets back.
