College GameDay will make its long-awaited return to Boston College for its game against Clemson. To close the show, though, which mascot headgear will Lee Corso don to open the weekend’s games?
On Saturday, Nov. 10, College GameDay will return for its latest edition. With Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and Maria Taylor all around to break down the action, no one will say that’s a disappointing start to one of the final weekend of college football.
For GameDay‘s location, fans will see it at Boston College’s campus in Boston, MA for their matchup against Clemson. Both teams place in the College Football Playoff Rankings at No. 17 and 2, respectively.
To close each show, Corso makes his headgear pick, choosing which of the on-site schools to win via donning their mascot head. It makes for a dramatic but entertaining lead-in to Saturday’s slate of games.
So, will the former college head coach lean toward the Tigers or the Eagles?
As always, Clemson finds itself near the top of the College Football Playoff Rankings, but not No. 1. That’s due to Alabama, who looks more dominant than ever. These teams may be on another collision course for the championship game.
Before that, head coach Dabo Swinney and company must fend off one of their toughest opponents of the 2018 season. Behind freshman phenom Trevor Lawrence and multiple options in the backfield, they will need all of it to remain perfect.
Boston College enters this game with two blemishes: losses to North Carolina State and Purdue. They have won three consecutive games, however, to slide into the top 25 and eye another jump — potentially into the top 10 with a win.
To no one’s surprise, Corso is rolling with Clemson in Saturday night’s game. Although he did have some fun trolling the Boston College fans in attendance.

The Tigers will take on Boston College at 8pm ET on ABC. Corso is expecting Clemson to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive, so we will see if his headgear pick turns out to be right.
